Peninsular Motors exists because of a simple belief: drivers shouldn't have to choose between dealership quality and a fair price.
From the Dealership Floor to Rai Drive
Before Peninsular Motors, our founder spent years as a technician inside Mercedes-Benz and BMW workshops // Factory training, factory tools, factory standards, working on some of the most sophisticated cars on Australian roads. What he took from those years wasn't just skill. It was a conviction about how work should be done: to specification, with the right parts, every single time.
What he also saw was the gap between what dealership servicing costs and what it needs to cost. The training and equipment matter. The glass tower and the free coffee machine // You're paying for those too.
So he built Peninsular Motors in Crestmead: a workshop with dealership discipline and independent overheads. Today our team of four services everything from Mercedes-Benz and BMW to the family SUV, and we're one of a limited number of independent workshops in Queensland authorised to update the official Mercedes-Benz Digital Service Book.
The Standards We Won't Bend
- Premium parts only: Genuine or OEM-quality on every job. If a customer asks for the cheap part, we explain why we won't fit it.
- Factory procedures: Manufacturer specifications and service intervals, followed to the letter // That's what keeps your warranty intact and your car reliable.
- Straight talk: Itemised quotes before work begins. If we find something mid-job, you get a phone call and a price, not a surprise on the invoice.
- The technician answers your questions: Not a service advisor reading from a screen // The person whose hands were on your car.
One Workshop, Two Ways to Reach It
Our home is the workshop at Unit 1/71 Rai Drive, Crestmead // That's where the hoists, the factory diagnostic equipment and the team are. Supporting it is our service van, which does two jobs: free pickup and return of your car within 20 km for European services, and mobile assistance for jobs that can be done properly at your driveway.
If you're in Springwood, Shailer Park, Daisy Hill, Park Ridge or Greater Springfield and the drive to Crestmead is the only thing stopping you // It shouldn't. We'll come to you, take the car, and bring it back serviced.
